single.is Community and Safety Rules
Version and effective date: 11 August 2026
These Rules form part of the single.is Terms and apply to profiles, photos, messages, dates, and interactions originating through the Service.
1. Respect and consent
- Respect boundaries and every person’s right to stop communication or a date at any time.
- Silence, prior contact, or accepting a date is not consent to sexual content or contact.
- Stop when asked. Do not evade a block through another account or channel.
- Discrimination, degradation, and hate speech based on personal characteristics are prohibited.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
Do not threaten, harass, stalk, coerce, intimidate, encourage self-harm or violence, send unsolicited sexual content, impersonate another person, falsify identity or age, share another person’s private material without permission, solicit money or credentials, advertise or recruit, facilitate sexual exploitation or trafficking, publish child-abuse or other illegal content, scrape data, spam, or interfere with security.
3. Authentic profiles
Use your own Kenni identity, recent photos showing you, and accurate information. Do not post a national ID, exact home address, payment information, or other sensitive information in a profile or message.
4. Safer dates
Meet in public, arrange independent transport, tell a trusted person, keep your phone available, never send money, and be cautious if someone pushes to move communication away from the app. Leave any situation that feels unsafe and call 112 in an emergency.
Papaya does not perform criminal-record checks and cannot guarantee user conduct or intentions.
5. End, block, and report
“End relationship” ends the in-app connection. Blocking prevents further direct contact where technically possible. Reporting sends a matter to Papaya for review. In an immediate emergency, contact 112 instead of waiting for app review.
Report in good faith and provide relevant detail. Knowingly false or retaliatory reports are prohibited; an unsubstantiated good-faith report is not penalised.
6. Review and action
Papaya may review a report, related messages, and necessary context; contact relevant people; and apply temporary or permanent measures. These may include a warning, content removal, communication limits, matching suspension, or account closure.
We assess severity, credibility, context, repetition, evidence, and risk. Privacy and safety may prevent us from disclosing another person’s data or the exact action taken.
Urgent safety reports are prioritised. Our operational target is to begin urgent review within 24 hours and other review within three business days, but this is not a guaranteed resolution time.
7. Review requests
Send an appeal or a report when the in-app tool is unavailable to single@single.is. Identify the account and event without adding unnecessary sensitive information to email.
